Nice fridge but there have been issues

This is a great fridge but the ice maker broke within the first week. LG support was great and sent out a replacement quickly which took less than 10 minutes to install. The craft ice feature is cool but the balls do not come out fully formed which is disappointing. Luckily I didnt buy this fridge for the craft ice. I do wish some of the design features on this fridge were a little more thoughtfully considered. For example if the touch panel is off you have to press the button twice to switch from dispensing ice and water. One button press to wake the panel up and one to make the switch. Despite this Im fairly happy with this fridge. Its my third LG refrigerator and Id buy another one in the future.

Ive had this refrigerator for 2 years now and I like the design and features. Only complaint is that 2 of the 3 plastic bins on the left door have broken. The left door has the ice maker and when it closes it tends to slam due to the weight. I dont have anything heavy in the bins so Im disappointed the they have only lasted 2 years.

I picked this model for its various features like a deli drawer craft ice and self close doors among other things. The top freezer drawer is a little hard to open and it sometimes pulls the frig away from wall. Would be nice to have a freezer light for the bottom drawer. Not overly clear on how to setup craft ice with respect to the in door ice maker. Got it working OK and I understand how craft ice production works with regular ice production. The black finish seems to have a different feel and color as compared to where the LG logo is at the upper right. Almost like it needs to be pulled off.
