The fridge is very spacious. Initially, it felt as if I were going to break some of the movable shelves, but I think that was just the newness. It did take a moment to figure out how to lift one shelf (the one beside the ice maker), you almost have to move another one before opening that one, not sure if this is a locking mechanism or a user error. I love that the middle drawer converts from freezer to fridge to drink cooler; this feature gives extra space whenever needed.

New French-door Refrigerator

The new refrigerator represents quite an upgrade. It is spacious, functional and well light. Ours was (however) delivered with a scratched right door. Also, we noticed that the water in the door appeared to have little pressure and the ice maker was very slow. In checking into the issue, we learned that these refrigerators require higher water pressure on the line than previous generation refrigerators. Minimum of 35 lbs. Our reverse osmosis filter was knocking down our line pressure. Also, being that this is a 36" refrigerator it wouldn't fit the previous appliance garage in our cabinets. So rework was required.

Purchased last week, have had issues with Custom Flex drawer and open door light staying on. Have called Frigidaire a couple of times since it we registered online for the warranty support. In trying to get schedule to get repaired, have been on for over twenty minutes with an incompetent support person. This fridge is spacious, beautiful, and useful. Has a feature to prep the temperature for "Grocery Day", which is really nice; keeping the fridge open for storing new items is always a problem. The water dispenser is tall enough for large water bottles, and ice is either cubed or crushed. I thought I wouldn't like the french doors, but I really love the spacing and being able to sort things. The smaller drawer has different temp. controls which make the fridge so versatile. and there are small closed off bins for smaller snacks/cold cuts/cheese, which is also very nice. Great use of space with this design.

The engineers and designers of this refrigerator made a lot of great choices. We love how the doors have a easy self close feature, compared to our previous refrigerator where if we didn't close the door hard enough the alarm would go off because the door would be left open. Open. With this new Frigidaire we just have to get the door close enough to be enclosed and then it finishes the job for us and closes the doors all the way. Love it!
